On January 15, 2026, an official signing ceremony took place for the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Sergiivka Settlement Council and the prominent Italian company “Italveco srl.” The document was signed by the Council Secretary, Artem Shevchenko, and the Legal Representative of the company, Matteo Noe.
This agreement paves the way for a large-scale project to install modern energy generation plants within the community. The partnership is dedicated to supporting citizens affected by Russian military aggression and ensuring stable energy solutions for the region.
Key Objectives of the Cooperation:
- Technology Implementation: Installation of energy generation and storage systems based on Italian expertise.
- Infrastructure Development: Modernizing existing power grids and establishing a joint technical competence center.
- Scientific Collaboration: Formation of a Technical-Scientific Committee (TSC) involving academia and civil society to validate multidisciplinary solutions.
- Economic Impact: Attracting foreign investment, generating new employment opportunities, and utilizing local resources and specialists.
The Sergiivka Settlement Council will facilitate location selection and permitting processes, while “Italveco srl” will provide the necessary equipment, engineering staff, and technical support to bring the project to fruition.
